Accessibility
WCAG 2.1 AA target.
Our commitment to making this website and the shop usable by everyone, and the steps we take to get there.
Last reviewed: 2026-04-25.
Our standard
We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA on every page of this website. Specifically: text contrast meets the AA threshold (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text and UI elements), every interactive element has a visible focus state, every form input has an associated label, headings follow a logical hierarchy, and motion respects the user's prefers-reduced-motion setting.
In the shop
The shop entrance at 43 King Street North is at street level with a single-step threshold. The chair area is accessible to most mobility devices; the washroom is one step up and is not currently wheelchair-accessible. We're working with the building owner on a long-term renovation. If you need any accommodation for your visit, message the shop ahead of the booking through Squire or call +1 647-410-2510 and we'll plan the visit with you.
Known limitations
- The embedded Google Map on the contact page uses a third-party iframe and may not be fully keyboard-accessible.
- The Squire booking platform is hosted by a third party; its accessibility is governed by Squire and not by this site.
- Some real photographs (low-resolution barber portraits inherited from the Squire listing) will be replaced as we receive new high-resolution photography.
Reporting an issue
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this site, send a message through the contact form or call the shop. Include the URL of the page and a brief description of the issue. We aim to respond within five business days and to resolve issues within fifteen business days.
